Learn All the
Indoor Kids Games Rules
Why? Indoor kids games rules are essential for everyone to be able to have fun. In our house, the motto is "In order to 'operate,' you must CO-operate!"
CHAOS? I don't like it. So, I set indoor kids games rules to avoid it as much as possible. What would happen if one of Willie's friends decided to hoard all the playing cards, or worse yet, keep all the Monopoly money? It wouldn't be a pretty sight ? that's for sure!
There are tons of fun children's games that can be played indoors . . . and don't forget about car trip games as well! Car games require indoor kid's games rules, too.
For instance, how about the ABC game? The object is to spot objects whose names begin with "A" then "B" and so, to see who can complete the alphabet first. Once a letter has been claimed, other players cannot use that letter again. Simple rules = better games.
With car games, you can choose colors, words, and names to make your drive a pleasant, fun, and educational journey. Check out billboards or license plates. You might want to make up rules as you go!
Another popular game that can be played indoors as well as outdoors is the basic game of jacks. It has simple rules:
- Flip to see who goes first.
- Toss the jacks onto the floor.
- Using a small, rubber ball, toss it into the air and pick the correct number of jacks (working from "onesies" up to "tensies" and back down again.
- Let the ball bounce only once, and snatch the ball out of the air while still holding the jacks.
- Use only ONE hand.
- Continue your turn until you miss the ball, miss the jacks, move a jack, or drop a jack you've already picked up. Then it's the next person's turn.
Or, how about a game of checkers? You can make your own set with bottle caps or pieces of paper or use a "real" checkerboard. The simple rule to start is that black always begins play, and players take turns from there. The goal is to make it all the way to the other side of the board. "Crown it!"
Any day is a good day for indoor games, and Indoor Kids Games. Rules are sure to make it fun AND safe. Rules make everyone much happier in the long run!
